MOE Approved MBBS University 2020-2021

The MOE was established in 1949, it organizes all perspectives of the educational system in China, including basic education, vocational education, and tertiary education and monitors the entire education sector. 

China has many medical universities among them some are english medium. Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE) has recommended that teaching MBBS courses under a bilingual curriculum in English and Chinese is ‘strictly banned’. According to MOE China, only 45 universities are listed to teach MBBS degree in English and admit international students. 

The cost range of china’s medical universities very low and provide quality education. This is the major reason why international students highly prefer china medical universities. In China, Clinical Medicine is taught in Chinese and English mediums both. Apart from this, Clinical Integrative Medicine is the other English medium course that includes Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. 

Chinese MOE has clarified that universities that are not in the list of the 45 universities should not accept foreign students for the MBBS program in English taught. The latest list of Chinese Ministry of Education approved medical universities in 2020-2021 has been released. The list published every year since 2007  when “Provisions for Quality Control Standards on Undergraduate Medical Education in English for International Students in China” were introduced.

There is a small change in this list compared to the last year’s. Some universities are changed their quota for accepting MBBS(English-taught) international students in order to provide higher teaching quality. Aspirants planning to pursue medical studies in China are advised to take complete information regarding the course, fee structure, and duration of the course directly from that education institution/University.

MOE approved MBBS universities follow the bellow rules:

• Most important, MBBS Taught in English Medium | 5+1 years Program

• NO HSK-4 ( Chinese Proficiency Test ) requirement to pass in the first year or in the last

• All are the top Ranking Reputed Universities offering MBBS in English Medium.

• Total Credit hours of Medical studies are more as compared to non-listed medical universities.
• Only these 45 universities are allowed legally from the Ministry of education china in English teaching. Other Medical Colleges/universities have Chinese Medium of teaching.
