1. Accommodation Fee

Zhu Kezhen Hall:

• Single Room: 50 RMB/day (60 Kwh electricity per month included);
• Double Room: 60 RMB/day/person (electricity charge included)

No.31 Dormitory Building (Double Room): 40 RMB/day/person, 80 RMB/day/room (120 Kwh electricity per month included)

Cuibai Lyceum Dormitory (Double Room): 6,000 RMB/year/person, each room for 2 students.

2. Food Cost:  150 USD/Month

3. Tuition Fee:

Master Degree :

• 30,800 RMB/year for Literature and Education
• 36,800 RMB/year for Management, Science, Engineering and Agriculture

(Except 150,000 RMB/year for Law and 180,000-300,000 RMB/year for MBA).

Doctoral Degree : 42,800RMB/year

(Except 37,800 RMB/year for Foreign Language and Literature).

4. Other Fees:

III. Eligibility Requirements

2019. Applicants must meet the requirements prescribed in Doctoral Degree Programs Admission 2019 or Master’s Degree Programs Admission 2019.
2020. Applicants should have a competitive academic record and display a strong scientific research ability.
2021. Applicants may not be beneficiaries of any other scholarships at the time of application.
2022. Education background and age limit:

• Applicants for the master’s degree program must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
• Applicants for the doctoral degree program must have a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

Please note:

a) Costs of the laboratory experiments or internships that beyond the university’s arrangements should be self-afforded.

b) The monthly living allowance is granted to the students at the following rates (CNY per month):

• Doctoral degree students: CNY 2,000
• Master’s degree students: CNY 1,700

After You Are Admitted

After you are admitted, we will inform you via email for your confirmation of acceptance. Afterward, we will issue the admission letter, JW201/202 Form for visa application. If you wish to live on the campus, please complete the Housing Application Form. If you need pick-up services, please fill in the Airport/Train Pick-Up Form and submit it to cumt-help@163.com.

Prepare Your Departure

Before your departure, be sure to take the following materials:
(1) The Admission Letter
(2) Passport (valid for at least 6 months).
(3) JW201/202 Form
(4) Official Foreigner Physical Examination Form and your blood test report.
Be aware that the orientation is mandatory for freshman students.

After You Arrive at CUMT

Once you arrive on the campus of CUMT, please go to Room A105, Wenfa Building, International College, Nanhu Campus for registration

Established in 1897, as one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China, ZJU is a leading research university under the direct administration of China’s Ministry of Education. Reputed as “the East Cambridge” in history, ZJU has always been ranked amongst the few top universities in China in terms of its comprehensive academic strength shown in teaching, research, and social service.

ZJU is the most extensive university in China whose fields of studies cover 12 major branches of learning, namely philosophy, education, literature, history, management, science, engineering, economics, law, arts, agriculture, and medicine. The university has 27 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and over 3,700 full professors and associate professors. Its 37 schools and departments altogether offer 207 doctoral programs, 288 master-degree programs, 112 undergraduate programs and several other learning programs for international students to choose from.
