Lanzhou Jiaotong University

Lanzhou Jiaotong University is the Gansu Province high-level college building university, which was chosen through the Ministry of Education as “excellent engineer schooling coaching plan”, “the central and western university foundation capacity development project”, the education base for Air Force Reserve Officer of the Chinese people’s Liberation Army and was once honored with different titles. (1)History

Lanzhou Jiaotong University used to be founded in 1958. In that year, the Ministry of Railways decided to construct a new Lanzhou Railway Institute at the site of the Lanzhou Tang hospital. To this end, the Ministry of Railways with the approval of the Ministry of Railways to the Central Committee of the celebration and the State Council established the Lanzhou Railway Institute. In March 2000, the school operated in accordance to the new management system. In 2001, Gansu Petrochemical School used to be built-in into Lanzhou Railway College. On May 20, 2003, the Gansu Provincial People’s Government held an information convention and formally introduced the selection to alternate its name. On May 25, the ceremony of renaming was solemnly held on the campus of Jiaotong University. In 2010, Lanzhou Jiaotong University installed the Lanzhou JiaoTong University Wuwei campus. In 2011, it grew to be the 2d batch of “Education and Training Program for terrific Engineers” of the Ministry of Education to carry out schools and universities. In 2013, it grew to be a college of “basic capacity constructing mission of universities in the central and western section of China”. In 2016, Lanzhou Jiaotong University signed a strategic cooperation settlement with the China Academy of Railway Sciences.

(2)Discipline and programs

Lanzhou Jiaotong University has 20 faculties and one bodily Education Department, with sixty two undergraduate majors and 12 specialised specialties. As of March 2016, the college has 4 postdoctoral lookup stations, 5 Ph. D. diploma authorized first-level disciplines, 34 doctoral diploma approved disciplines, 23 master degree approved first-level disciplines, and a hundred and five master diploma approved disciplines. There are three country wide exceptional courses and forty nine provincial high-quality courses. There are 1 countrywide teaching team and 9 provincial teaching teams.
